During the sample preparation stage, please pay attention to these four principles:

Principle of representativeness
The representativeness of sampling is related to whether the experimental results have scientific

significance, so you should carefully choose your sampling plan based on the experimental purpose.

Pathological tissue samples should not contain normal tissue, and normal tissue samples should not

contain pathological tissue. When conditions permit, the samples of the experimental group and the

control group should be kept as consistent as possible in terms of sampling time, location, and

processing conditions, otherwise it may affect the credibility of the experimental results.

Accuracy principle

The various characteristic data of representative samples must be accurately recorded, and collected,

prepared, stored, transported according to requirements (low temperature, rapid), and finally correctly

processed according to the experimental design.

Principle of speed

Sample quality is the most critical factor affecting experimental results, therefore samples are collected,

prepared, stored During transportation, efforts should be made to expedite and minimize the time from

sample collection to experimentation.

Low temperature principle

After the sample is detached, it should be placed in liquid nitrogen, dry ice, or -80 ℃ refrigerator as soon

as possible, and it should be ensured to start before the experiment

Always remain below -70 ℃ to avoid degradation of DNA/RNA.

Sample preparation stage

The sample preparation stage is relatively complex, and different reagents and operating methods should be used according to the type of sample (such as adherent cells, suspended cells, animal tissues, etc.).

Special attention should be paid to the use of storage containers and freeze-thaw tubes. It is important to carefully identify and select high-quality freeze-thaw tubes for sample preservation.

Sample packaging

  1. On the surface of the aluminum foil or cryopreservation tube that wraps the sample, mark the sample number and sample with an oil-based marker pen Type. And do not come into contact with organic solvents such as ethanol.
  2. Do not wrap the sample directly with gauze, paper, or disposable gloves. Instead, wrap it in aluminum foil or cryopreservation tubes before putting it into the sample bag.
  3. Do not use glass containers to store samples in liquid nitrogen; Do not use transparent tape in sample packaging.
  4. Do not put label paper or other explanatory documents made of paper into the sample bag, as the paper is in liquid nitrogen
    It is fragile.
  5. The label paper should be attached to the sample bag rope and not to the surface of the container to avoid falling off and causing sample confusion.
  6. Do not put too many samples in one sample bag to prevent being unable to fit into or remove from the liquid nitrogen tank
    Remove from the middle. The sample bag is pre cooled in liquid nitrogen before use.
  7. Customers should provide a detailed description of the type, processing method, storage conditions, and storage time of the sample when filling out the Sample Registration Form, so that technical personnel can determine a reasonable experimental plan.
